“Survive the Time and Challenges & Seize Opportunities in Market Fluctuations” – Sidelights of 2015
2015 is a memorable year for the capital market in China. In 2015, China’s economic development has shifted from the rapid growth in the past two decades to the new normal of slower but stable growth. Meanwhile, the secondary market has experienced the bull market and bailout as well as policy adjustment in a few months. How should we see the macroeconomic adjustments and changing capital market, and how should investors seize the opportunities and make prudent choice for strong returns?
On August 28, the 2015 JD Capital Institutional Exchange Conference, themed “Survive the Time and Challenges & Seize Opportunities in Market Fluctuations”, was held in Jinhai Lake Hotel in Beijing. Investors from over 30 institutions were invited to attend the conference.
In order to address hot issues concerning macro-economy and the capital market, experts including Li Yang, former Vice President of Chinese Academy of Social Sciences, Director of National Finance and Development Laboratory, and former member of Monetary Policy Committee of People’s Bank of China, together with partners of JD Capital and institutional representatives discussed about the growth trend, opportunities of China’s economy and capital market as well as investment strategies at the conference.
Grasp the growth trend of macro-economy and seize the historic opportunity
At the conference, Li Yang and other experts shared detailed analysis and interpretation of the growth trend and opportunities for global and domestic economy.
According to experts, China has become an indispensable part of the global economy. Many countries are now facing the dilemma of “deleveraging” and repairing the balance sheets when stipulating macroeconomic policies. Influenced by domestic and global environment, China’s economy has undergone a structural slow-down. In the transition period from the old cycle to a new one, changes have happened to engines for economic growth, such as technology, capital, and labor. With relatively strong national balance sheets, China will enjoy huge and new opportunities along with the deepening reform and strategic adjustments of economic structure.
Missions of professional investment institutions
At the conference, Cai Lei, Chairperson of JD Capital, delivered a keynote speech of “Dream of Long-term and Excess Returns of Professional Investors”. Through the speech, Cai shared with the institutions the enterprise’s thoughts and practice about investment strategies as well as missions of professional investment institutions.
According to Cai, in order to obtain long-term and excess returns, professional investment institutions should continuously seize systematic opportunities. At present, due to the adjustments in global and China’s economy, opportunities are created as a result of economic restructuring and capital market. These opportunities should be seized to discover and support high-quality targets, so as to create values for funders and invested enterprises. In addition to obtaining returns for clients, enterprises and shareholders, JD Capital also aims to optimize resource distribution, increase efficiency and fairness, and benefit humanity through continuous innovation and growing benefits. JD Capital will firmly strive for this goal with all partners.
